When we got on the gondola, the weather at the bottom of the mountain was a comfortable 32 degrees, so we didn't bother to read the sign at the bottom indicating the weather conditions. When we got to the top, it was -10 degrees with 60 mph winds! Hannah shares my adventurous spirit, and wanted to explore, but Chris was freezing and stayed inside.

When we got to the top, I wondered why they had replaced the sign we are standing next to. I remembered it being 30 feet high when I was there last summer. Chris had to remind my frozen brain that the sign wasn't smaller, the snow was 30 feet high! See the summer picture for scale.
